Yes, I can download just about anything I want from Usenet,FTP Ax Sites,Hubs,ect.
How much tech support can you expect from those kind of sources? I was ONLY able to get my TomTom working because of the help I recieved here. I can ask questions here and not recieve some negitive smart ass'd answer. People here genuinely try to make your stuff work.
I make a good living driving "big trucks" here in the U.S. I have commercial authority to haul freight in 49 states and Canada. For years i've had to rely on a bulky laptop and have totally destroyed one in a minor traffic accident. Six months ago i purchased an Axim PPC and lifes been alot easier since then. Got myself a BT reciever and a nice powered suction cup mount.
My PPC makes me money.
Navigating U.S. cities can be a real bytch. The anxiety of getting to a pickup or making deliverys to places you've never been in a "big truck" is alot different than passenger vehicles. Just the act of turning [U-Turn] around can somtimes require you travel 15-30 minutes. Always making certain you're taking the "best" [$] route is mandatory. Having to make a detour using a paper atlas is totally redicolus and can be dangerous.
My PPC makes me money.
Anyhow, I'm really gratefull to this site and to those individuals who contribute in all aspects.
It was only fair that I donate a few $'s to the cause.
