The full page ads should appear once every 24 hours for every non-VIP user. You should check to make sure your browser can accept cookies if they appear more frequently for you. If you think you have cookies enabled but still have problems with these ads please post here and state your browser and its version, along with any add-ons or security software you have that might affect cookies.

Solutions that have worked for some members:
- switching to chrome browser
- removing mobilism.org from your adblock, this will allow it to store a cookie that stops the page from showing more than once in 24 hours

EDIT May 07 2011: now testing new ad format, full page ads removed

I think they need these ads to keep the site up and running.
Even if it's not the main source of income, we should support.

Cookies are enabled, but I get an ad after every single click now. Pretty DANG annoying. FF4 Final. :(

Edit: Fixed by re-enabling my AdBlock plus addon that was disabled.

Honestly, its ok. If people are getting the ad every page they should use adblock to disable the ads. We want them to be able to browse the site and it makes no sense to ruin their experience.

Again, if you're getting the ad every other page, you should block it. We'd rather have you enjoy the mobilism experience than lose a little profit.

Im a VIP user and I still see it. It's a whole lot of fun chasing that ad around the screen in opera mobile 10 on a PPC. Took me about a 1/2 hr to view the site after I logged in. Sure wish I could remember what finally made the ad go away. I get that the support is needed for the site but does it have to be full page? It may be easy on pc to just click past it but on PPC it makes a decent browsing experience a nightmare.

As far as I know all ads are supposed to be disabled for VIPs. Will look into it.
