Dear users,

as anonym.to seems to be down there are two options to download the files:

• Open the link and remove the "anonym.to?" from your address bar
  
  
  
• Mark the link and copy and paste the text to the address bar (choose copy, not copy link target as this will copy the "anonym.to" again as well)

Sorry for the trouble, we are trying to fix it as soon as possible.

What does anonym.to actually do for the downloader?.. is it important?

If you use Firefox as your browser, try the extension "Redirect Remover" to remove "anonym.to" from the URL automatically. You will have to right-click and select "Open Link in New Window" for links that include "anonym.to" in their URL (indicated by a circle with a diagonal line when you hover over the link)--a slight annoyance but not as much as the copy-paste method. The extension can be enabled-disabled at will.

Anonym.to prevents a site from appearing in the server logs of referred pages as a referrer. So the filehost or other sites a link may lead to have no idea you clicked a link here to get there.

thanks for the solution. Ive been wondering for the past 2 days what is going on.

In chrome, just right-click the link & select "Copy Link Address" in the menu that appears… paste into a browser tab and bingo-bango you're in downloading business again. When I clicked on the link, it took forever for the url to show so I could do the steps that were indicated.

Brilliant now we don't have to use anonym.to at all.

I think anonym is back online again, works for me at least at the moment.

I can confirm it too, "anonym.to" server are ONLINE again

It is not onlie,mobilism just remove anonym.to server from every download link...
