If it does not belong anywhere else and has to do with iPad post it here.

Hey people, I am looking for an affordable yet comfortable stylus for daily note taking during classes. I had tried the pogo stylus but really hate that filmy spongy thing it has on the bottom and I don't mind spending up to $50 for a durable and good stylus.

I don't draw so it is really for writing, and must have a substantial weight to allow the ipad to recognize my stroke.

What do you all recommend?

depends on what you want to do. for drawing etc, i find wacom is unbeatable. it's expensive (about 30 bucks) but worth it.

you just need to take notes, so just get one of those "boxwave" pens. you can find some under 10 bucks, so you won't regret it. it works for me.

my favorite note taking app btw is "upad". very easy to start pages and save them, or email them as pdf/jpg to yourself.

It’s not when you start that makes your success in the world, but when you quit.
