Can you do the G&a links for the Android section?

Scoro. Thanks for your request. The purpose of adding 'G & a' links to WinMo app and games is - beside the fun part - providing download links to CAB files, which are directly installing to the mobile, without the need of a desktop computer. We suppose you mean to have apk download links in the Android release posts. We were told that 'almost all releases for android are a single apk which works for many versions of Android, and Android devices are automatically updated to the latest Android version'. Meaning it's useless to add these supplementary links. (Thank you, LH) - G & a

Alot of the Android releases are on file hosting sites that my phone will not download from it does not recognize the files as being valid applications. They are valid .apk files but something with the phone will not download apps from them. I've never had that problem with RS or MU links. Don't you get points on the RS accounts that the .cab files are uploaded to? It could help keep the sites RS accounts alive and maybe allow you to give access to RS accounts for the VIPs. I also miss the similar list, another great service...

Actually RS doesn't work any more with 'points scoring' for downloads. That's why we don't use RS any more for our services. Our MU account scores just enough points to keep it alive without having to pay for it, and our UL account gets indeed cashed out for downloads. This money we use to support freeware developers who are so kind (and smart) to dedicate some special attention to the users of this site. We don't earn a single penny with services, but words of support like yours are worth a million to us. Now, back to your original request; it's technically simply not possible to make supplementary download links for all Android releases. We can't keep up with new releases and we'll end up with many dead links by lack of time to check & correct them, like we do in WinMo section. Now, if there's already a download file available in the release post, and your problem is related to the download server, you can always ask for a mirror. You can do that in the release topic, and - if you don't get any reply there - you can always use our Mirror requests Service that we created for that purpose.

In any case, we're willing to help you, in a way that every time you visit this site, you leave with the feeling you just had the most wonderful time of your life... ;)

I joined today and I make a US$25 donation. I got a email acknowledgement of it immediate
I tried to use the app Mobilism Market : When I choose to download, a prompt box popup for me to key in user and password - Everytime the error is username and password incorrect
So I tried to ask for password again ( thinking changing it might work) - error message my username is not in the database

I PM the mod 2 times and both the PM stuck in outbox and I cannot sent out ??

xmenasia, welcome to this wonderful world we call our site. How nice you post in our services section. We're starving to help you of course! However, specific questions related to the Mobilism Market should be posted in the appropriate topic (here) as that's the place where the 'specialists' are replying.

Now, about your PM: if they are 'stuck' in your outbox, it means they haven't been read yet. Keep in mind mods have also a 'regular' life (well...) and might not always reply promptly to your PM. Also it might be people are away for holidays. So it's better to post questions in the 'general talk' section of the specific platform, or PM/BCC to the whole bunch of mods there. Sure there will be at least someone awake and willing to help you... ;)

Hope this matter settles soon for you!

Previously, it was one of my favorite sites but now
I can not find more applications for Android, everything has changed. How do I review the applications?

Hello,

I'm pretty new there, and that's a really great forum ! So many apps there, even a market, that's great.

Just wondering, could you considering using a real good file hoster like dl.free.fr instead of those crappy ones with standby and captcha ?
It would also address all the problem for downloading from mobilism market apps i guess as we could download directly from the app without any browser. It would be so much better. Downloads from filesonic with stock android browser or dolphin doesn't work at all. And maybe even solve the need of mirror (files are deleted only after 30days without any download)

(It's a totally free service (from a french ISP) without any premium account needed, or even no account at all, no captcha, no ads, really really fast, and you can upload files up to 1GB with a browser or even files up to 10GB if you upload by ftp)

reggaemanu, thanks for your post. Though it has nothing to do with services, we'll keep it here because it contains nice words that we we never should get short of. Now, about the file hoster. Because this site is visited and worked on by so many people from over the world, it's difficult to find a hoster that works fine for everyone. What you find 'a real good' file hoster, might turn out a 'crappy one' (your words) for someone else, and the other way around. Downloads that aren't working for you might be working flawlessly to others. We've seen many come and go that claimed to be 'the perfect one', but turn out in the end to let down by changing policy or connection troubles. That's also the reason we motivate everyone to post mirrors, so most users are able to download from the host that suits him best.

Hi i joined vip and premium downloads today, there were a few hiccups but the service i received was great and i love this app, i will be using it not only for android but iphone ipad and ipod.

when you download the mobilism app and then try to download movies does it go to your device or does it go to the mobilism app and go to downloads? and if so, do you have to have wifi turn on to access your movies?

Hi EverythingAndroid, welcome to Mobilism!

First of, you might wanna add your device info which you can do it from User Control Panel. That way, you will get faster replies pertaining to questions related to your device.

Secondly, you might want to read about this : viewtopic.php?f=1&t=214777 for questions related to stuff downloaded using mobilism app. But as far as I can understand, you may set the download folder for your easier finding later on and I don't think once it's downloaded, you're gonna need wifi to access the movies you have downloaded. Maybe more to .zip or .rar software (device-dependent type version) since most of the stuff here are zipped or rar-ed. Hope that helps, :D

Hi

I've been trying to use the Mobilism downloader without too much success. I copied and pasted a link into the box, enter my password and user name, and all the downloader seems to be doing is making a clicking noise while in the window it says its processing my request.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong.

Oh, damn! Speaking of services: so sorry to discover your request after so much time. Please do not think we are lazy, or we don't care about your complains. I simply didn't see it. Or maybe I did and counted on someone else to reply. But you're right: there isn't anyone else. Anyway, I'm sorry. Simply not using your account deactivates it. Your account is only active when you use it.
