I just got a Blackberry Curve Gemini from a friend as a gift and while navigating on my Facebook apps I wonder why I cannot log in to Check in Place in Facebook? Is there something wrong with my phone? The Share location is grayed out and disabled.
Please I need help.

Hey mate have a look on this thread :

How to enable/disable Facebook Places

1- Login to your www.facebook.com and go to Account -> Privacy Settings


2- Click on ‘Customize Settings’ under ‘Sharing on Facebook’

3- Scroll down to ‘Things I Share’ and look for ‘Places I Check in’
4- Click on drop down box and select ‘Only Me’
5- Uncheck ‘Include me in “People Here Now” after I check in’ checkbox

6- Select Disabled, next to ‘Friends can check me in to Places’ under ‘Things other share’

Thats it!!
