since a few days ago my N97 Mini suddenly can't connect to wifi and i have no idea why. every time i try and connect to i get the msg "wifi network not found. could not connect"

can anyone help me???

if you've been connected to a network before, it is looking for a specific SSID and not finding it.

try browsing for accessible wireless connections and refresh the list.

i'm using my home wireless connection. the only thing that has been changed is my router. i don't think it's related to what you said. how am i supposed to refresh the list or change SSID?

you can set SSID by logging in to your router. default gateway of most common routers is 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. as an alternate way, you can simply refresh the connection list by tapping on "find available networks" on your phone.

thanks, i refreshed the list and everything's ok now. but one question as i'm new to this gateway thingy!! how am i supposed to find my username and password? whenever i try to connect to 192.168.0.1 a box with two fields for uid/password is displayed!

default username and password of gateway is "admin" (without quotes) for both uid and password. however, if it doesn't work and you didn't find anything useful in the manual, the only way you can get access to your router's settings is resetting the device.
