Just tested Puffin, Dolphin and Boat browsers. Opened the same page in all 3 browsers just to see how it works. Since I read a lot I need smooth scrolling and fast performance. I'm a big fan of quick controls from ICS Quick Browser which is probably the best but it doesn't support Android 4.3 anymore. Stock browser quick controls sux big time. Never used gestures before but it looks like the only way now days to use it instead of quick controls.
Dolphin Browser: Great scrolling and fast performance but lack of quick controls and gestures controls on screen is a big no no. Just to get to gestures controls it takes an extra 2 clicks and gets you away from main page. Totally useless.
Score: 2 out of 3
Puffin Browser: The page didn't look properly on the screen. Text wasn't wrapped properly. Scrolling was choppy. Quick controls and gestures not available.
Score: 0 out of 3
Boat Browser: Great scrolling and fast performance. Gestures controls on screen are available. Just draw a gesture on the screen and it'll do whatever you desire. Now we have a winner!
Score: 3 out of 3
For testing I used Galaxy S3, Android 4.3. Webpage I used for testing rcgroups.com forums

Naked Browser Pro is just fantastic, its small, private and does everything the big name browsers do but better. Its function over form which is exactly what you want in an app.

I can't believe habit browser isn't listed here, I've tried over half of all of these and habit is the best one by quite a margin.
Fast, small, infinitely customisable, side pie menu, it's got everything you can ever want and the Dev actually implements your ideas

Puffin is the only mobile browser I have found that lets me play flash games on the web. Chrome is my second goto , fast and I like that it sync's with my other computer browsers.
