Hi,

I'm looking for
1.short story collections/ anthologies or
2.books which are less than or very close to 100 pages

.- Any genres except - dark/taboo/horror books.

I have exams coming up and want to read short books during breaks.

Otherwise I just end up binge reading the whole book and waste hours.

Tales of the Hidden World, by Simon R. Green. The total is well over 100 pages, but it has 17 short stories in it. So the average length should be well under your limits. :)
Three in Death, by J.D. Robb. Three novellas from the Eve Dallas series, murder mystery genre with a literal kick-ass heroine. :)

And unfortunately I'm drawing a blank on any more anthologies in my collection. I'll have to see what else is in my library.

Do a search for "flash fiction" - either here or Google it.

I love short stories and flash fiction (or drabbles, which are even shorter). They're great when you're tired, but want to read. No following long plots or remembering what happened last chapter.

If you prefer articles (longform or short), there are apps that will push them to your ereader. I have a Kindle and use Push to Kindle by fivefilters.org. They'll also push short stories and so on, obviously.

Good luck with your search and your exams!

How to fracture a fairy tale by Jane Yolen - just finished, I really enjoyed it.
A glove shop in Vienna and other stories by Eva Ibbotson, for a light, cozy read.
Anything written by Jack Ritchie - he makes me laugh hysterically.
Leviathan wept by Daniel Abraham: one of the best anthologies I've ever read, but I fear it's difficult to find.
If you are a fantasy lover, The inheritance and other stories by Robin Hobb: a fascinating mix of High Fantasy, science fictio, urban fantasy and some magic realism.
Oh, and Dino Buzzati: I don't know what has been translated into English, but he's terrific, and very enjoyable is Giovanni Guareschi.
