I'm using malwarebytes and virustotal. The first has no problems with the apps here, the second usually does, but it has problems with apps from the Play Store too, it's probably just prone to false positives. What about you guys?

I use Adguard to see what kind of connections some app made — if they seems to phoning home: i block it.

i also restricted their permission, especially GPS/location.

i never found malware in this forum.

After reading what was said about adguard in the android/security for the permium unlocked adguard apk......(newest version) im staying clear of adguard... looks quite suspect... read all the comments and you will see what the last post says.. and why i hesitate.. maybe im wrong? Just sharing..

You can download adguard premium from their site for free if you enroll in their beta program, that is what I did.

I use adguard and installed the extension on my chrome, works really well.

I just use the default security software that comes bundled with my Samsung device.

There is noting wrong with Adguard I have been using it for a while now and never had anything go wrong with it.
never had any virues. you can block apps from going on to the net and sending your info back which is a good thing some time.

Irregular network scans, sandboxing, external permission manager, firewall

Adguard DNS via private DNS connection which allows me to block ads/trackers everywhere whilst using a VPN at the same time, Malwarebytes & VirusTotal. Does the job for me re: ad blocking/tracker blocking & virus protection with zero issues so far.
