I received a Sony Tablet S as a present. This Tablet was purchased in China and is full of Chinese aps that I cannot understand. I have changed the language, but these items are still there.

I am a total idiot when it comes to tablets or Android, so please forgive my ignorance. My question is:

Is there anyway I can get rid of this? A PC gets a reformat and it is "clean". Can I reformat a tablet?

You're gonna have to root it and install any bloatware remover app from the market. This has worked fine for me

Now the only problem is rooting your tablet. You should look it up on xda-developers I'm sure there must be some tutorial there.
