I installed HibyMusic on my LG G3 wit LineageOS 14.1 - the sound quality is great with an external USB DAC.
But I cannot play back music from external storage such as OTG pen flash drives (nor exFAT, FAT32, NTFS). I can browse the drive from file explorer, but I cannot see it in HibyMusic. It is also not possible to open music files with HibyMusic from the file explorer.
I searched the net, and came upon https://www.computeraudiophile.com/foru ... l-usb-dac/
There it is stated, that it should work with external exFAT drives.
As a side information: I cannot access the external sd card anymore for some reason for over two years - it suddenly stopped working. It is also not possible to play .FLAC files from the external drive with the built-in Music app from LineageOS.
Playback of files from internal sd storage works great with HibyMusic and the builtin Music app!
Maybe someone could help?
