Try SuperFreezZ from the F-Droid catalog. It's free to use. I have been using it for months now, and while it isn't perfect, it's the best I have found so far that actually does what it says, and does not need root.

Greenify works the other way around to what you're asking for. You tap on the Greenify Widget and it will batch force-close apps. It can also be set to close apps as your device enters sleep. Once you've got your head around how to configure it (which isn't too difficult) you'll find it to be extremely helpful.

Simply you want to block apps from "auto starting" during phone boot. You can try All-in-one-toolbox, Autobstsrt manger and so on. All you need to do is tap on the apps in the list "user/system" to prevent them from auto startup.
