Not sure if I am the only one, but I pretty much stick to the RPG category and often get tricked by the interactive novels (choose your own adventure). I can see the argument for them being in the RPG category, but would live to see them have their own dedicated category.

Not sure how others feel.

I thought they have a category of their own? in Steam at least, they're called visual novels..
