Can you update it to the latest version?

Apologies if this is addressed somewhere and I haven't come across it. With this build and others (Derrin & Youarefinished included) I regularly have an issue where a video with play for approx. 30 secs and then just stall, continuously buffering (spinning circle). (Pixel 8 Pro - A14 latest build). Have tried many things to try and fix including different MicroG builds, clearing data and cache, disabling original app and restarting the phone. Any advice much appreciated.

If you have tried many methods and still can't solve the buffer issue, then it is recommended that you change another Google account to login and try again, it is very likely that everything will be ok. Unless your account is targeted by Google, otherwise, you only need to install, login then run it to enjoy everything.

sorry for the question, but what's the difference to the official app?
