I'm confused, all this time I've been playing my modified RE4 without any strange problems appearing, and have finished it several times from 2022 - 2023, and just thought about sharing RE4 here.

I started modifying this because my little brother complained about not being able to open the RE4 game since the android 12 update, and i started modifying it in 2022 and used it personally, i thought about sharing it so people can play it too.

but VirusTotal flagged it

Ironic indeed. This game is so good! I want to play it again. Even if i have wii/gamecube version lol. But this one is mobile. Thanks for fixing "the crash" on newer android. Why capcom? You should port RE4 full game to mobile and sell it for around 8-9usd. That should be worth to buy.

uniorincally came at the right time, also virus total had false positives I took the liberty of checking and the APK I don't think even connected to the internet

I really miss this game, last played the original version (PS2) in 2017. I still actually keep the 8MB SD Card from 2014 until NOW, i think it still works and keeps all the memories :')

Capcom didn't want to release it on Android for fear of being pirated

Yes you are right, i removed the internet permission in this game, this game no longer requires internet access.

If internet access persists, it still doesn't work. Because this game has been discontinued (death) and has not been available for a long time.

Maybe because I set Obfuscation Dex to high level, so VirusTotal flagged this as dangerous!

And also using App Clone for "File & Directory Bundles", several features in App Clone are also marked as dangerous, even though they are not.
