Now that I've finished the Elder Races I'm giving the Black Dagger Brotherhood a try. I'm reading "Dark Lover", the first book in the series.

It's not my preferred style of book, but I'm going to try to finish it before I make any decisions about the series. I know of a couple of others that got better with book 2 and this may be one of them.

Just finished "Perigee" by Patrick Chiles and have discovered he has another book called "Farside" which sounds like it may have alien contact in it. I love sci-fi that has the discovery of alien artifacts or derelicts as its core plot.
