A high tech group of mercenaries led by an ex-CIA agent is commissioned by secret players in the Mexican government to destroy one of the largest drug cartels. This strategy is designed to create a vacuum where the government can manage the remaining crime syndicates. Will it work or implode?
Evan Hernandez stumbles into the operation and is immediately recruited by the group's leader, Nathan Rock. Evan and Nathan have a shaky at best past that stretches back to the killing of Pablo Escobar decades earlier in Columbia. Evan is still haunted by his families’ assassination during that era.
Reluctantly Evan is lured back into the underworld of undercover work and the ‘Narco. Nathan the leader of Dark Cloud uses two ghosts from Evan’s past to draw him in. One: an undercover operation involving a Soviet vintage sub sale to the Cartels; a copycat mission that Evan had managed decades earlier. And two: the man who killed his family
