Hi all,
I would like to know, is there any way I can convert PDF files (over 30MB, so "ePub2Go" is out) to ePub file so I can drop it off in iTunes and then read it on my iPad 2?
I just want to be able to read PDF formated book on iPad 2... Apple, why are you so difficult?

I know that 4Videosoft PDF to epub will help you to have the best reading experience. It is a powerful and multi-functional tool to convert pdf to ePub. It is extremely easy to use. Simply a click the PDF file has been converted to Epub. Then you can sync the Epub files to your iDevice via itunes.
Here is the tutorial for How to Convert PDF to Epub for iPad 2.

As mentioned, iBooks can handle PDFs. Drag and drop the desired PDFs into iTunes and then sync with your iPad.
Some people have reported iBooks crashing shortly after opening large PDFs with iBooks. It was suggested that a reset of the iDevice to resolve that issue.
Personally, I haven't any large PDFs so I can't vouch for the resolution method above.

There is a PDF reader for the Ipad, it's called CloudReader and it works great for me. I use it all the time. Of Course, I'm assuming that it will work on Ipad2, since I have the first gen, but I can't see why it wouldn't.

calibre is the way to go. It will convert from almost ANY format to epub. It can also transfer your files from your desktop to your ipad. I've been using it for several years and love it.

As has been mentioned, the iPad will read pdf files, so probably not a good idea to try to convert them.

Traditionally, pdf files wouldn't convert to anything else very successfully, but efforts have been made more recently that have resulted in something adequate.

I've just discovered Wondershare and it seems to have done a decent job of converting a pdf to an ePub file for my Kobo.

Sorry, no links, but you could do a search, and some other Macintosh forums do have copies.
