If it does not belong anywhere else but is about Windows, post it here.

I have created a USB thumb drive with music on it to use in a vehicle. The music is ordered, sorted by artist first name, last name in folders, then by album name in folders under the artist, all sorted alphabetically. As I have added artists and albums, they do not sort alphabetically. I have tried forcing the sort with Windows Explorer but in vehicle, they are still not sorted alphabetically.

I have also tried using drivesort.exe. but when executing on a windows 11 computer, a message comes up saying mfc140u.dll is missing. The message continues saying to install or add the file or place it in the drivesort folder. The file is in the computer and the drivesort is an executable with no folder.

I would appreciate if someone can assist me using drivesort or another program or app to force the alphabetical sort of the folders on the USB thumb drive in the vehicle.

Thank you
