PC - Freeware Essentials
Here you will find some freeware for PC which for one reason or another is worth to take a look at: some because we think it's really good, others which are extremely helpful for working & posting on this forum and take full benefit of it. Some program may already be found shattered topic-related around the forum... and difficult to track in the end. Maybe it's a rare found? Something you use and want others to discover? Something difficult to get as it needs registering to some unknown site, where you can't find your way trough the ads and popups? Remember the advantages of freeware: first of all, it's free. Then it isn't that 'heavy', as software you buy is often loaded with to many features - bells 'n whistles - you never use, and finally: you don't have to bother about serials and keys, which eventually have to be renewed and don't work any more when the software is updated. True, there are many sites around where you can find freeware. Nevertheless, I'd like to offer users of mobilism to share and discover some - and my - favorite essential freeware here on the site, in a structured way, with explicit screenshots and proper - working - links which are kept alive by the poster(s)... exactly like we manage to do on the rest of the site, which makes it so different from the usual...

- use the usual site release template.
- use the site's image upload server when available. (If not available, any other will do as long as you update the image as soon as the site's server works again)
- refresh your links if they are down.
- update your post if new version available (leave old version links)
- do not use signatures in this topic

If you have a great freeware to share, and you don't want the trouble of releasing it using the forum's template, you may post it there also, and we shall release it for you in a proper way. Of course you may also suggest a great freeware by .

- Though all freeware posted here is free, we sadly can’t state that all installation processes are clean as they often come bundled with some adware features (toolbar, home page and search) and even if you could easily opt out of having them installed - and/or remove them afterwards - this type of behavior could bother a lot of potential customers.

- We ask users posting here to update their post whenever an update of the program is available. Still, we advice anyone interested in the program to check out the developer's site (see 'More Info' link) before downloading to check if an updated version of the program is eventually available, to be sure you have the last version.

- Though the programs posted here are free to use, it doesn't hurt to show the developers some appreciation of their work, to keep them motivated. This can be done in different ways: send some comments by email, send some money, upgrade to a more specific version of the program, or simply participate to forum discussion. Whenever possible we will add a support link.
