As Mario, the player explores Princess Peach's castle and must rescue her from Bowser. Super Mario 64 features open-world playability, degrees of freedom through all three axes in space, and relatively large areas which are composed primarily of true 3D polygons as opposed to only two-dimensional (2D) sprites. It emphasizes exploration within vast worlds, which require the player to complete various missions in addition to the occasional linear obstacle courses (as in traditional platform games). It preserves many gameplay elements and characters of earlier Mario games as well as the visual style.

More Info: It's free, no additional software required to extract, just click on the .exe file and it will run. (Make sure to create a folder for this as for when you launch it, it will create save data and a configuration file)

SM64 was and is a fantastic game, though, like so many other milestones in the history of gaming (such as Doom, Half-Life, Goldeneye, Knightlore, Manic Miner, Elite, etc), I think you really had to be around at the time to understand how innovative and amazing they were for the time.

And SM64 really did make us stop and stair. Not only did it bring 2D platform games fully into 3D, but it demonstrated that the extra dimension really could be harnessed to create a whole new way to play the game. There had been 3D platform games before, but SM64 managed to do almost everything to a much higher standard. It might have been bettered by later games (I personally think that Banjo Kazzoie, released a couple of years later, is better than SM64, for example) but it's still very rewarding to play today, which isn't something that can be said for many of the games that at their time broke new ground and are still regarded as classics.

I install all the apps I share, to test they work on both phones & tablets.
Each APK gets a malware check through Sixo, MetaDefender, & VirusTotal.
