any "must have" apps i should look into? anything specific i should do to PIMP MY PHONE? i'm completely new to the whole iphone scene so i know next to nothing. i do have appcake and installous, but beyond that i'm not sure what to even look for.

Google maps, social media apps, then free calling apps , there are so many you can download it from iTunes.

Install f.lux. This is really a helpful app to ease your eyes at night while using the phone. It also helps you to sleep better.
