Completed Rhythm of War by Brandon Sanderson ... Not particularly happy about this one. Seems like he is still having the hangover of Mistborn series ...

Recently started the Iron druid chronicles, I'm in the middle of the second book. I'm kind of keen on it - there is a talking puppy! But! A bit too much of a high school drama for now. We'll see how the author will handle it trough the next books.

To Hell And Back: The Last Train From Hiroshima. So horrible, but I just get sucked in everytime I start reading. Kinda like how the firestorm sucked in air and fuel and....yeah....

The Saints of Salvation by Peter Hamilton.
Leviathan Wakes (Expanse Vol. 1) by James S. A, Corey. This time I watched the first series before deciding to read the book and will do the same with the others in the series.

My usual mistake is reading a book then watching the TV show or movie based on the tome and whinge and bitch and moan about it, which is not a good idea when you are sitting in a theatre.

One of the worst adaption films I have seen is Alex Garland's trashed and ruined version of "Annihilation" from the book of the same name by Jeff VanderMeer.

I have to say that I'm rather impressed as to how well the writers for the first series of The Expanse stayed pretty faithful to the book Leviathan Awakes.
