Something related to Charlie Munger. I'd love to read everything about him from his biography to his well-spent life advices.
Too bad he is now 92 yrs old. I am afraid that someday he would have been gone forever & I can not learn anything more from him.

Now I’m awake and you’re here.
Now I’m dreaming and you’re here.
Now I have nothing but days.
Never nights.

Add a kid I devoted everything by Tamora Pierce and Diana Wynne Jones. More recently, Neil Gaiman & Christopher Isherwood. I'm still working on Terry Pratchett!

Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child..

still think 'The Relic' is the best first book I've read BUT as the years have gone on, it seems they're becoming less and less involved or interested, some of their later novels are quite frankly, awful and boring.

Sad as it is to say, I can't think of anyone other than a few childhood authors. I do pounce on anything new by Ilona Andrews, Anne Bishop, Nalini Singh, Jana DeLeon, Lynsay Sands, Lisa Blackwood, Kristen Painter, Helen Harper, G.A. Aiken/Shelly Laurenston, etc. But I don't love all their older stuff, and tend to stick to the newer items.

Luckily they are prolific enough to give me plenty to read and re-read. :)

Hard to tell - anytime I think I'm getting close, the author usually publishes another one (or two).
