Safya finds herself relearning how it feels to be powerless—though she’s never been one to stay down. Navigating her new place among the gods, Safya has no choice but to rediscover and redefine herself if she has any hope of keeping up.
Aliana, on the other hand, finds herself in a very different set of circumstances that she can’t help but explore as she discovers the fluidity of power—and that most power is ripe for the taking should anyone be bold enough to reach for it.
Aliana and Safya remain an unlikely pair as they both fight to survive long enough to reunite and wreak havoc in the mortal realm.
