Abruptly snatched up and whisked away light years from home, young Bawb found himself thrust into an entirely new life. One that would see his days filled with brutal training of both mind and body, and where failure could have extreme consequences. It would be a difficult existence of sweat, pain, and struggle, where injury and even death were on the line.
Unbelievable as it seemed, this was his destiny.
Bawb was not just any boy. He was a Wampeh, and among them one of the rarest of his kind, possessing hidden abilities that could lead to his meteoric ascent into the ranks of the Wampeh Ghalian… or could just as easily result in his early demise. The struggle would take years of hard work, but if he overcame all odds and survived the ordeal, he could then count himself among the most elite in the galaxy.
But first there would be training, facing challenges the likes of which his young mind could not yet fathom as he embarked on the long and twisting road leading him to evolve into the great warrior he was destined to be.

Surviving his indoctrination into the elite order of assassins had been a challenge unlike any he had ever faced in his young life. It had been brutal, violent, and painful, but he’d made it past those initial hurdles. If he wanted to excel, however, to reach his true potential, he would need something more—a competitive edge of some sort.
Training under the watchful eye of one of the greatest assassins in the galaxy could well be just what he needed.
The pressure would be immense—far more than he’d experienced before—and with every increasingly difficult task Bawb faced now came a greater likelihood of serious injury or even death. That was the trade-off. He was no longer a Null, the lowest of the low, and was climbing the ranks with such speed and skill that he even dared dream of one day becoming one of the Five, the secretive leaders of their deadly order. And with his new mentor’s guidance, he could very well reach his lofty goal.
