Sam, who works at a large, bustling public aquarium, lies unconscious and clinging to life in the hospital. Assigned to the case, Brunner wastes no time in calling upon Genevieve, who has a unique empathic ability to communicate with spirits, but only as long as the victim is still alive!
After her otherworldly conversation, Genevieve finds out that Sam is sure someone wants to kill him for a very rare gem he possesses. However, once the gem is uncovered, it’s not what Brunner and Genevieve assumed at all!
