So I got through the series and it didn't grab me as much as the Dragons of Preor series did by Celia Kyle but since I am a sucker for Dragon stories at the moment (heavily so). I am headed into the next series The Dragons Appraiser by Viola Rivard. Let me know if you have any recommendations? All are gratefully received :0)

I made it through the first five books before I got distracted by Thea Harrison's dragon series and, Kevin Hearne's final Iron Druid book, plus a few more new-to-me authors. Today I need to devour the new Ilona Andrews book "Magic Triumphs", but after that I can dive back into Aiken's series.

I thought Eve Langlais' Kodiak Point series had a similar humour. I was hoping for more similar stories from her (but less eh...explicitness), but she seems to have changed directions... boohoo !
Alanea Alder's Bewildered series is generally less explicit, but has funny dialogues and with better world building - except for the constant focus on Meryn as central figure, even in other people's stories. Nicer people, too, rather like L.M. Lacee's characters... but with better editing.
