It's been a while since I've read her books but I still think they are some of the best romances out there. In fact I have a bit of a story about the first McNaught book I read, this is a long time back during Desert Storm, I live in the Middle East, when it first started we were warned about Sadam using chemical weapons so we had gas masks but we decided it would be best to use the bomb shelter. The sirens sang out one night as I was reading my first McNaught, we quickly entered the shelter and got our masks on and then we waited listening to the radio to hear the all clear, while I was waiting I was reading Something Wonderful while wearing my gas mask, I had it close to my face as I couldn't wear my glasses, the book was so good I simply couldn't put it down. When I think of the image now seems a bit surreal. I wish JM would start writing again.
