So I read the book. Call Me by Your Name by André Aciman has moved me so much I can't ever stop thinking about it. And the movie! The movie was fantastic. Do you guys know any LGBT books in the same vein of Call Me by Your Name? So far, I found Ernesto by Umberto Saba and For a Lost Soldier by Rudi van Dantzig and loved them both, though not as much as Call Me by Your Name, but they sufficed enough.

imnotanerd1997 and harmia,
I saw the book and bypassed it. Now after reading your reviews, I realize I passed up a really good read. I'll add it to my list of reads again. Then I'll watch the movie.
Thank you for the other book/movie collection as well.

In Perfect Light by Benjamin Alire Sáenz, and Adam Silvera books are similar to CMBYN. Other M/M books by Benjamin Alire Sáenz too are much similar.
I read all of those a while ago, and when I read CMBYN on March, and watched the movie, I couldn't help but think of those two authors.
And CMBYN was one of the best books I ever had the misfortune of reading. I say misfortune because sadly, few books can compare to the wonder that was CMBYN.

i saw this movie a few days back and then read the book.. the movie was made awesome by timothee, loved his way of portraying elio.. and the book was awesome too.. reading the book made me wonder if finding that someone just for a ffew weeks is worth all that pain of lifetime.. it sounds scary and thrilling both.. but i will always wonder about these two when i have this thought in the future.. cause it felt so unfair and so painful even through a book..
If they are stupid enough to try change you..!
Well, be smart enough to walk away..

Great film and great book. Apparently there is going to be a follow up film later in the year.

It's here somewhere. You can look it up. It's called Find Me. I have read it and was disappointed. Totally different from CMBYN!

I saw this title and I'm like, "Elio-Oliver" in my mind all over again. T_T
And my playlist is playing Mystery of Love.
I loved the book and the film too! I was one of those person who ships what they saw on TV to be honest. Hahaha. So I shipped Charmie hard before.
