To old-time FF book lovers from the Demonoid days, the name Yamlugue1980 is a legend. It meant the latest and the hottest new FF releases. In my ignorance, I'd assumed Yamlugue1980 was a release group...you know, one of those "scene" warez groups who have unlimited access to industry sources. Such was the volume and frequency of those releases that everyone who had any interest in FF books eagerly awaited the latest Yamlugue torrents.
Imagine my surprise when she PM'ed me one day out of the blue, asking me to help seed. That was the day I realized what a selfless person she is, and with a great big heart. Yam buys all of the books she uploads. She's a great big fan and collector of lesbian fiction and comics. And she gladly shares them with everyone else who loves them but can't find or can't afford their own copies. She's very organized and super OCD about her ebook collection and how they look that she'd take it upon herself to fix entire volumes because she can't stand the published version's errors. Yeah....I miss her wit. Her funny and furious rants. Her big heart. Rest in Peace, fellow FF lover.

I’m glad someone took the time to post here about Yam’s passing. In 2011 Yam and I met through Demonoid. In August 2012 she introduced me to GigaTribe. She would find and uploading everything to GigaTribe then started on Mobilism. She was always willing to help (especially when she would upload things to sites for me) and always willing to share with us. Without her I would have never found an online lesbian community of readers nor would I have the collection of books I have today. She will always be remembered as my online go to person and friend.
Sincerely,
Adrienne
