I myself choose that Asterix 10 Asterix the Legionary (1967) is my favoritest, the stories strong enough to give me some laughable jokes. Both Asterix and Obelix (in the story) has made Roman's bureaucracy turn upside down when they decided to join and enlist in the Roman army. After awhile, the best part come during the trainee and followed with campaign against Caecilius Metellus Scipio...

Hahaha.... I don't deny it (and I've already read it all in Hard Cover but in Indonesian), but as you know, my dear friend, there always be the favoritest chosen among the best... So choose one (or two), hehehe...
FYI: For Asterix lover, you really really should read "The Complete Guide to Asterix by Peter Kessler", It's about the making and origins of Asterix and many things from ideas to name of characters

My favorite is Asterix and Cleopatra, the Sphinx nose is my favorite part. I read the comics when I was little, but maybe I should pick them up again.

When the first time I read this book I really-really believed about "the spinx nose incident" is true.



And yes, 3 out of 3 has choose that Cleo's nose is the pretiest (compare to them ?!)

All are amazing stories, but I love the Olympic Games and the Mansion of the Gods the most.

Olympic Games because of the amazing sportsmanship by Asterix, and Mansion of the Gods because finally Cacofonix has a chance to shine (haha, poor fella)...

And all the countries Asterix and company have visited... A little glimpse into the different cultures...

Thanks, I remembered reading this as a kid. I could not remember this for the life of me, my favorite comic was the one where they take care of the baby.

My favourites have always been Asterix the Legionary ( my first introduction to Egyptian hieroglyphs and, even, swearing in them - that makes go rotfl even now) and Asterix and the Banquet ( for all the different foods and people that Asterix meets on his journey through France).

Awesome series overall - allowing me to discover a new layer of humour in names or dialogues each time I reread.

My favorite is Asterix and the son. I love how the little guy goes around bashing everyone saying 'goo' and 'gaa'

Asterix the gaul and Asterix and the Great Divide are my favorites.
