Maybe i didn`t test well but i noticed one "problem" with a lot of launchers (nova for example). you can`t have home screen free of widgets. other words you can`t move widgets to another screen and than have home screen free to see for example beautiful images of your children etc. which is a feature i don`t (personally) like it. i always try to setup my screen with new launchers to see that kind of behaviour. if it fails on that i don`t care about other stuff...
