need working app store or apk downloader
that has select android version (need android 4 app)

i see the option is there on some sites such apkcombo
but does not seem to be working anymore

(example when i try "flying lines" in apkcombo apk downloader
goes to a google search that points to latest version wich is not compatible with android 4,
and another site with similar feature doesn't even search or open anything)

looks like such sites worked fine some months or years ago
but they are no longer properly maintained/updated
any such option still working in 2021?

Apkcombo has a feature where you can choose what Android OS you have, what architecture you have i.e. armv7a or armv64a and whether your device is a phone, tablet or leave it on default.

If you leave the search for default, it rarely finds the correct APK and obb files for my phone so I have to change it.

Try going on the APK downloader and putting in the package name for `flying lines` which is com.rere.android.flying_lines

Right underneath where you put the package name is the options I`ve mentioned. Android 4.4 is supported and searchable on apkcombo as I`ve just done the search myself.

I just downloaded it to see what the minimum SDK is and it`s 20 which is Android 4.4!

It`s original not modded.

i checked my phone, is android 4.4.4 so should work but does not
guess i need to empty it and reset it to be sure its not here the problem

i did not find it odd because after an update years ago the new versions stopped working on it,
but i could uninstall the new versions to reinstall the old versions wich worked...
now the old versions also stopped working and their support is to be considered non existent for such case
they simply said they no longer support older devices

guess i'll try again after phone reset and return with news

now that i did a factory reset with format all data still can't get the pesky flying lines apps be them old or new to install , and some others too
so i am still looking for a good marketplace mirror alternative that can still serve tested apps for old android 4

the errors i get are "parsing error" even so the very old versions should be compatible and even some new ones

i have tried all versions old and new i could find via apkmirror,apkcombo ,apkpure, apkmonk...
so maybe i should be looking for more obscure and less known markets with big amounts of apps, any ideas?
