Hi , so the book is an old romance in the 70 maybe ? The heroine moves to a new log cabin house but find the hero I guess he is a lumberjack or he built it himself so they end up dividing the cabin in half , she has a horrible sense of color and make him a yellow shirt I think , she find once a homeless boy and end up taking care and adopting him . They marry of course. Please it’s driving me nuts trying google !!
a few more details I remembered :
The cover of the book is yellow and the hero had blond hair ,heroine sew two matching shirts for the boy and hero, I thin the hero was feared by his neighbors ? The log cabin is on top of a mountain ,the heroine has a lease paper that says it's her cabin. She wears long skirts .There is a scene where they divide the cabin in half even the bed.
maybe in old Harlequin or mills and boon?
