I would think that the purpose of no thank you posts (which is largely ignored anyway) is to reduce clutter of the forums and not bump older outdated posts. That said reward point posts by the admins essentially messes up the flow of the posts. You never know which posts are newer or older because of a reward "bump". For instance over in Android section an admin just rewarded an old post for Real HDMI v 1.0.6 which bumped it to the top making people think it may be new when in fact version 1.1.3 is newer and three pages back!
Admins should think of a better way to post the rewards as not to bump old posts to the front.
