Hi

could you include a serial.txt file to all releases that require manual manual registration? The serial.txt file should be installed with the application, into the same directory. The the user could open the file and copy the registration info.

Having a link "Request serial" next to the cab file is not optimal, imho.

This seems easier than the current method of linking to the serial, since once you have the files you no longer need to visit a secondary site for a serial. You will always have the serial available, even if you decide not to install the app immediately after downloading.

Gentlemen, we've been doing this since weeks now. Whenever you see the the CAB file adding:

< CAB file: xagenda342p.CAB - Serial inside - SiMiLaR > - G & a

The Serial inside means: link to the serial and also in a .txt file in the install directory

So when you install the CAB, you have in one download the serial in a .txt format on your device. However, this can only be done for user-independant "universal" serials. Soon we shall start our DikS (Direct key Service), where subscribed users will have a personal serial included in the CAB file.

I'd say it's time to close this thread, the explicit "serial inside" is smart enough.
