SPORTS CENTER CONTEST #241 PREMIER LEAGUE DAILY DOUBLE

The 2018-19 Premier League continues this weekend with two exciting games. As is the case with a Daily Double, we had to pick the winner in BOTH games to win. The favorites are in bold and red.

GAME ONE
Wolves vs. Southampton/DRAW


Ivan Cavaleiro scored with his first touch in the Premier League as Wolves struck two second-half goals to beat Southampton at Molineux. In a game starved of quality and clear-cut opportunities, it was substitute Traore who made the difference with incisive runs as the hosts defended their unbeaten home record. Southampton keeper Alex McCarthy had produced an excellent save from Raul Jimenez's header, having also denied the Mexican in a tight first half, to keep his side in the contest - but the Saints were no match for the Wolves’ offense and have now won only four of their past 32 league fixtures.

GAME TWO
Everton vs. Fulham/DRAW


Fulham's miserable run at Goodison Park continued today as Everton took all three points and picked up their first win since August.
After a goalless first half with just one shot on target(!), the second half saw more excitement. Sigurdsson completely wasted a penalty shot but made amends for that penalty miss with a cracking strike at 56’ and backed it up with another towards the end of the game to help the Toffees win 3-0.
