One of my Japanese maple trees is starting to turn . . .

matina and Katy . . . sorry to be late in writing. Am feeling a bit better today but still very, very sore and feeling sorry for myself. Rearranged my medical appointments, so I don't have to go anywhere this week. Still avoiding the OxyContin and relying on Panadol.

matina, so sorry about your heat. Hope it will be better soon. Am grateful to be living in the mountains with AC.

Katy, thanks for the photos. Good to hear about your reading pile. I've got back to reading a bit. Haven't felt much like it lately.

Bye for now . . . .

Nice, new road surface in front of my house.

matina, thanks for your good wishes. Am taking it very easy today. Stomach not good. 30 degrees here but with my AC I'm very comfortable.

Katy, I think the Panadol has got me through the initial pain. Now my stomach and other 'innards' are playing up. More or less fasting today. Watching the birds and will have a long nap this afternoon.

Sunnya and Rishi are well. Take care, everyone . . .

HELLO ALL!
PJ cinnamon tea will help with tummy issues be careful you need to eat to have energy to heal. plus with hot weather it will be easier for the fluid to flow right through you if your not eating much, especially with all the meds your on you need to eat as they too will make your tummy go funny. maybe some mashed potato with a boiled egg or some steamed fish or an omelette. saline crackers
KATHY we are roasted being indoors and with the A/C on full all day god help us all.
be safe everyone and god bless and be with you all.

My RAT covid test (negative) which I took just before going to the hospital, wondering whether they needed me to have one. Used to be mandatory for everything. In my case, covid was never mentioned. Guess that worry is gone for good. I got heaps of these RATs from my chemist a year or two ago, for free.

matina, woke up feeling a bit better and more clear-headed today. Not 100%, of course, or even close to it, but slightly better. Am going to sit in my recliner chair and watch the birds for a while. Sunnya and I were out in the backyard briefly, but it was a bit too warm for us. Hope you're OK today.

Katy, good to hear your family news. Yes, I'm taking special care of my stomach. Not eating anything heavy. Won't go into all the technical details . . . TMI!

Bye for now . . .

HELLO ALL!
PJ I would take another covid test after being in hospital you may have picked something up in there but cinnamon tea is the best for all tummy ailments. that and honey lemon ginger tea. So glad your feeling better today.PJ I had to buy my father a covid test for him in January and it cost him $46 for i packet of 5 covid tests. Don't throw them out and there was no concession for it either.

HELLO ALL!
PJ so glad you had a better nights sleep and that the tummy is improving start your probiotics and yogurt fruit to replace all the good bacteria back in the gut. I hope you have a better nights sleep tonight. yes cinnamon tea is the best keep having some but look after you blood glucose levels as it reduces that too. so make sure you eat!
KATHY I hope you have a nice Sunday out we had cooler weather today so we went to buy fresh eggs then we did some vegetable shopping then picked up some frozen stuff from aldi and a chemist warehouse order of pain medication as i was running so low of after the week of hell that we had, then visited mum's friend all with yogi in tow we picked up a BBQ chicken and some nice ciabatta bread rolls and made a chicken mayo and lettuce sandwich when we got home at 2 pm. we then put is all away and then we crashed for an hour of a nana nap.

matina, thanks for being in touch. Hope you enjoy your hairdressing appointment today. I think you were visiting your aunties too. Still sitting quietly here . . . was nice to have Rishi in my lap.

Katy, so glad you're enjoying your cooler weather. Only 13 degrees up here earlier, and rainy. Watching a couple of Endeavour Energy trucks manoeuvring in the street outside, and hope that they won't shut off my electricity for repairs. Trust that your grandson will enjoy his educational outing and learn a lot. Let us know.

Slightly better sleep, but still not well. Won't whinge more for now.

Can anyone guess what this plant is, in my back yard?

Hope everyone stays well.
