Hello, this is my first post on the forums, I am a longtime viewer, first time poster. Thanks to this site I have gotten my Axim X5 going great with plenty of games and programs.

The question I have is for my Dell Axim X50v, it is currently running Windows Mobile 2003SE, the only problem is that it seems to be hard to find the correct programs for it, some programs that say they are for 2003SE set and error on my X50v saying that the program many not run properly because it was designed for a previous version. I would like to upgrade my X50v to Windows Mobile 5 to have more software available to me to use. I have the 2003SE to WM5 A01 and the WM5 A02 downloaded already, I'm just not sure if it is worth it to upgrade.

I would just like to hear everyone's thoughts on it, Is it worth it to upgrade to WM5 for the software that is available or should i just stick with what I got because it is working great right now.

well, I just answered my own question. I just went to update it and found out that I can't because the AC adapter is not connected. It's not worth it to buy the cradle for the X50v just to update it once. Anyone know of an SD loader to get WM5 on the X50v?

According to me I just giving a answer of your question. I just going to alter it and going to activate out that but i can not do that.because of the AC adapter is not connected with the X50 alternatively.
