I currently am using Prestige but, I use it as my default opener. I do not use the list, or search or anything like that because it wants to import the books into the app which is on my device. I run out of room really fast with that. :o

I use Lithium. It's simple and minimal and provides basic functionality as well as some theming options. It's also lightweight.

shout out to FBReader. Can sort and search by tag, series, author.
Does what I require, never felt the need to try another

If you remove a book from Prestige reader , it will delete your ebooks from your device and hide it in a hidden folder. And the books got deleted will be in Sdcard/Books folder for the most time.

Try Reasily epub reader. Its the best app on play store. One of the best features of this app is we can use custom CSS to design the page.

What I use under Android is FBReader for Android. I began using FBReader in an earlier version written in C that ran on Windows and Linux. The Android version is a rewrite in Java. FBReader is free and open source. There's a donation version you can pay for (and I did) that builds in the PDF viewer and the GUI bookshelf, but you can get those features in the free version by adding plugins.

The win for me is multiple format support. FBreader displays ePub, Mobi, FB2 and other things native, and can display PDF, DjVu, and CBR/CBZ (comic book) files using plugins. I prefer ePub, but if I can only get something in another format, FBReader can display it.

I use Kovid Goyal's open source Calibre program to maintain my master eBook library, and use Calibre to place books on my devices. Calibre can maintain a variety of metadata about titles, including categories and descriptive tags) and FBReader can use the metadata. When I go to FBReader's Library page on device, I can select books by Favorites (a user maintained list) Recently opened, Author, Title, Series, Tag, and browsing through the file tree.

FBReader gives pretty comprehensive formatting control. On the 7" tablet that is my usual device, I get what is essentially a mass market paperback page.

You can find it on Google Play at https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ui.android
