Kindles are not installing apps/sideloading APKs as of the past few days.

PLEASE NOTE:
1. This is not an issue where the INSTALL button is greyed out.
2. Yes, I have Apps From Unknown Sources enabled.
3. No screen-dimmers, blue light filters, or overlays are running, or even installed.
4. I have restarted, among other common sense first response management.
5. I'm not rooted.

I've just been on an hour long googling rampage but the only results (even from XDA) that exist address the more widespread greyed-out install button issue.

MY issue is that the INSTALL process ultimately ends unsuccessfully, saying the app did not install. I've tried using multiple file managers (as well as the default Docs) and even tried downloading an APK Installer from the Play Store (yes Play still works...several apps/games I got here at Mobilism are the source of my problem). I've even tried disabling some of Amazon's security apps for th e duration of the install process but nothing works.

Anyone else having this issue? Is there a workaround?
