Need a help in uninstalling apps that I don't need on Moto Milestone 2 (Froyo 2.2)

I mean crapware like News, Weather, Social networking etc

The App manager only allows "Force stop", but the "Uninstall" soft buton is not active e.g. it doesn't allow removing an app.

Any ideas? Shall I download Titanium Backup for this purpose?
