Make a folder called "tomtom" on the internal storage and external sdcard(emmc), use a app called "Directory Bind" to bind the "tomtom" folder in the internal storage to the external storage folder "tomtom", so it looks like this, then when Tomtom downloads the data it goes on the sdcard and not the internal storage, you can use the app to bind any folder used in any app as long as the folder is named the same. Very useful for storage hogging apps when internal storage is low

App is very easy to use with its built-in dir browser but needs root to work to create the syslinks from one folder to the other.

Hi.

I installed successfully the APK but when I start TomTom, I have a popup message saying that it cannot connect to tomtom server. I have a EU Galaxy Note running android 4.0.4 and the wifi is activated and checked working fine.

Any thought?

I think TomTom changed something on their servers.

Did you try the fix posted on the 1.0.1 version thread?

I can confirm that by going into Android Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>W. Europe and by "Clear data" option and launching TomTom again it will work!!

I've done this while offline (no wifi or internet connection) on my Xperia Play and it worked!
