Hey guys,
I too am a tom-tom fan from Windows mobile phones.
NDRIVE, COPILOT, NAVIGON are really disappointing when it comes to the interface.

I went from Windows mobile devices a few years ago to Android. Android back then really had that Beta flavour, where nothing was either tested our implemented properly...

Fortunately, these days things have improved for Android and applications are getting better. however, NAVIGON (free on my Galaxy S2 i9100) was really bad until they offered the Free update to v4.5.x

Still nothing beats Locus PRO for basic "looking around"and great navigation! (web connection required!).

Having paid for NDRIVE and using the forum copy of COPILOT (used it since 8.0), I'm really unimpressed! :(

Can anyone write some detailed, precise and finite steps to get this to work???

Can anyone please upload their Tom Tom folder off their SDCARD please???

Thank you very very much!

Happy to share NDRIVE 11.4 + Maps.

Installation Instructions:
UnRar from the Torrent download the desired region to install.
Copy tomtom folder to SD Card for your phone/device.
Copy APK file to phone or SD Card.
Disable any Data or WiFi connection.
Install APK and run the program. Done!

Warning: to prevent the program from ever 'phoning home' and possibly disabling the navigation, always turn Data and WiFi OFF before using!
Do not attempt any in-app purchases or 'live data' features...use in off-line mode only.

The file are there. I tested this morning and now on different computers and my phone and the link works with the files there.
Could you try again in a few minutes and see what happens.

Edit: I just downloaded the file and extracted them and there are all there. My personal opinion, sygic is better than tomtom because sygic give you more options and a better interface.

I suspect that you are wasting your time waiting for this at present as I had a working copy of UK & Ireland and even that's blocked now.

@hii1,
Look at ibza's post #21 for the installation instructions and link to download the SD card files. The files are there.

Yes but as I posted above even with the correct maps etc we are all probably likely to get the following message once installed
"The Google Play license of your application is not valid. Please contact Google if you think this is a mistake. NOTE: A network connection is required to verify your Google Play license." Exit.

So I suspect that all maps will be affected.

i know the files r available via torrent, the thing is i cant download Australia on its own,i have to download the whole file which is over 1 gb and then extract Australia, thats why i was asking 4 Australia on its own, anyway if tomtom is blocking it now then i guess there is no point downloading it in the first place !

I have now discovered a "workaround" on another site which worked for me.
"
Settings> Applications> Manage applications> Downloaded (here tried the application [in my SGS2 with the name "UK & Ireland"]

Click the application "UK & Ireland" and "Clear data"
And my TOMTOM is working again!!

Disadvantage: You lose your bookmarks/ Favorites and personal settings (Like: location of the home, etc ... "

REMEMBER: Mediafire.com blocks ALL "anonym.to" anonymous links. So if you see "file blocked", just go back and visit link directly without "http://anonym.to?" at the beginning....

Peace.
