I found the problem for "no maps". I haven't unplug the phone of usb cable when testing. After unmount the pc link, it works fine.

TomTom can not see SD card when plugged into PC. That is why it doesn't see maps

Is it just a matter of installing the apk, running it then copying the tomtom folder to the SD card?

Sorry, it was a typo... should have read 398 [extracted] 378MB zipped

On a Motorola XT910 (Razer) you need to copy the map to the Internal drive to make it work
