yes clean. i even used revo to uninstall.

install, then i copy paste obb and overwrite in data folder. is that not right?

what I did:
1 Install the apk file to internel storage
2 copy the "com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds" with obb file inside to internel storage/Android/obb/
3 restart your phone.
4 Turn on GPS.
5 Run the app with Wi-Fi or Mobile on
thats all I have done to get it going.

You are ruuning it on a arm64 phone and not a arm phone and what type of phone do you have, I am using it on a S10+ Phone with no Prob.

Could be some thing wrong with your Honor Phone..
Not with the app in the first place sorry to say.
Huawei phones seen to have the same Prob as will on most of there Phones to.
Have you had any other versions Tomtom GPS apps that work.. ?

Go to the Tomtom Labs option they are all in there (Lots to)

Unfortunately i found not.
And after fresh install i kamm error message: something went wrong. And stopped.

Hey, unfortunate fellows : couldnt you have issues because of your location ? e. g. my case > i live in France, where radar alerts etc are prohibited > this app isnt present on french Google play, and this mod refuse to install...

First I installed the applications, then I moved the whole folder to the Android/Obb path in the phone memory.
