Redshift The Quest v1.04
Requirements: PPC 2002 or newer, 18 MB storage, 12 MB program memory
Overview: The Quest is a graphically stunning, engaging and sinister world full of magic.


The Quest
Choose from five customizable races and an array of skills, attributes, weapons, armor and enchantments, then explore a huge non-linear realm of four different cities and a wilderness of mountains, caves, lakes and forests.
Play an absorbing card game, solve brain-teasing quests and clash with dangerous opponents in this turn- and skill-based role playing game.
You will have many choices, including some that may place you against the law, along your way to the dramatic end of your own choosing. You will need all your gaming know-how to survive and discover your destiny!

Features:
doom-like view of the wielded weapon/shield, but don't think about an fps
playable races, even undead (will mean different quests, dialogs, abilities)
skill-based system, primary and secondary skills. The attributes won't advance dramatically.
advanced dialogues, with persuade, lie, threat, ...
continuous emulated 3D, not block by block as in Legacy.
alchemy with ingredients, like mix herbs of resist poison and restore health, then you have a cure poison potion (diluted to strong, by your alchemy skill and equipment)
Cast or contract diseases, some of which may be lethal!
complex enchant system (effects: drain hp, drain sp, fortify skill, fortify attribute, resist poison/magic,diseases: resist, cure and infect, and so on...).
every item will have a weight (and your encumbrance limited)
special monster properties (infect disease, poison, resist magic or specific spells, ...)
one huge world, non-linear gameplay, you can go anywhere anytime
2-level dungeons, high ceilings and two story buildings
empty scrolls can be enchanted!
in The Quest, swords/armors can't contain spells - there will be rechargable wands!
dual weapon fight!!! (If you master the right skill)
books with simple text to read (even novels), and ones that teach you something
picking locks, disarming...thief skills.
rest in the wilderness!
advanced card game - more strategy less luck
The dungeon view will be as large as it can be!

Why should one install a CAB-file?

- direct download/install to the device, without polluting desktop PC by useless installed files
- CAB files are trusted. no viruses, no trojans

CAB Installation procedures:

- No need for serial: just install by clicking on the .CAB
- Serial: link to the serial needed to register
- Request serial: link to the service room for serial request
- Insane: use linked serial while changing name on device to "Insane" with Easysetowner3
- Instructions: link to installation instructions
- mob. part: .CAB file for mobile part, program also needs desktop installation or desktop patch

any idea how to get also PC version?
i'm looking for any full release.

Installed but having trouble registering. Says the owner name is "Crc" so I used the keygen to generate a code and it wasn't accepting it. Used both the generated codes for "Crc" and "crc".

Not sure how/where to change that name Crc to "Insane" either. If anyone could help, that'd be great.

Can anyone help me with unlocking the full version. i downloaded the cab version but still needs to register to enjoy the full version

get a prog called "wvgafix4" posted by cotulla at xda-dev - with that you can change screen resolutions. it works with my hd2, probably for other wvga devices too.

Redshift released several expansions for iphone which aren't available for ppc. But you can play them- get the iphone version, extract it and look for the .pdb files. There should be some of them. "thequestdata", "thequestbase", "thequestmusic" are just the basic game files. You can exchange these too, I didn't notice any difference, though. You need the expansion file, like "thequestluko3" for "hero of lukomoyre 3" - and so on. Just copy it to the exp folder and activate it from within the game.
