Is there a away to create a shortcut of starting up the GPS without going through the step of clicking the "Mapking icon" and "GPS" icon.

This is useful for me especially when I drive and I normally activate programs by voice command.

I hope this thread is still active and not too late to ask the serial for singapore map that I'd downloaded from the beginning.

I have just downloaded and run this.

I take it that you have downloaded and installed the program and maps from MapKing.

You need to also download the rapidshare file in the first post, and then copy it to your phone to over-right the existing mapking2007.exe file in (device or storage card)\Program Files\MapAsia\Mapking2007\.

This cracked file stops the requirement for a password.

I installed it on my Omnia i900 and it initialized. The map shown but the problem is I couldn't start the GPS. When the app initialized there is a GPS icon at bottom of the task bar. When I clicked it and it went to search all available com ports. After it failed to find any com port and it popped the error message; "GPS open failed, switch to the navigator mode?"

update: even I manually selected the com port from 1 to 10 at different baudrate but still failed.. :(
update; Found some valuable info, setting up Mapking is too much steps and involve 3rd party program to make it works on Omnia..

Does anyone has this problem? Need some advise..Thx

** I removed the sim card to prevent it goes to GPRS mode.
